Bio
Clay Walker grew up in Beaumont, Texas wanting to
be a country music singer. He performed in clubs
for almost four years while waiting for his big
break which came while he was acting as his own
manager, agent, music director and accountant.
His first album, Clay Walker, was released in
1993 and produced two #1 hits, both of which he
wrote himself. He has seven #1's to his credit
in his four year career and he is currently
touring wit Terri Clark, James Bonamy, and
Emilio. He was diagnosed with multiple
sclerosis in 1996 but stated "My doctor said
there will be no need for me to retire from
music." We can expect great things from this
young performer for a long time to come.
